The Cannabis World Congress & Business Exposition (CWCBExpo) is the only business-focused trade show and conference for the marijuana industry in New York and the tri-state area. The fifth annual expo will attract marijuana entrepreneurs, healthcare professionals, medical professionals, regulators, government officials, investors, agricultural professionals, and ancillary business professionals. In fact, attendance could reach 4,000 people or more.

This year’s event will kick off with keynote addresses from Emmy Award winner and cannabis advocate, Montel Williams, and Bruce Linton, CEO of Canopy Growth Corporation, the first Cannabis producing company in North America to be listed on a major stock exchange. Bell, Legislative Counsel for the State Policies Department of the Marijuana Policy Project; Leo Bridgewater, co-founder of the New Jersey Cannabis Commission; and Geoff Whaling, chairman of the National Hemp Association.

Specific sessions will cover using cannabis as medicine, landing a job in the cannabis industry, choosing the right cannabis lawyer, raising capital, risk management, industrial hemp, financial planning, legal compliance, extraction methods, capital markets, taxes, veterans, patients, and more.

Several workshops will supplement the main educational program and will address topics related to opening a cannabis business, advanced cannabis investing, New Jersey’s cannabis program, branding strategies, and developing intellectual property and production best practices.

Networking opportunities will be available throughout the conference as well as during three exclusive events: the CWCBExpo Yacht Party, a special Networking Mixer, and special discount seats at Yankees Stadium to see the New York Yankees vs. the Houston Astros.
