Cannabiz Media is seeking a commission Colorado Sales Representative to join our growing Team. This is virtual telecommuting position and in this role, you will be part of a virtual team to generate sales for the company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Generate sales to prospects looking for Marijuana License data
  • Schedule and conduct online product demos using GoTo Meeting.
  • Use FreshSales CRM to accurately record details of your sales activity.
  • Be dedicated to providing excellent customer service and to develop a professional working relationship with prospects and to effectively meet company objectives.
  • Deliver sales orders within your territory.
  • Attend internal meetings and trainings.
  • Attend conferences or events on an ad-hoc basis.
  • Ability to work at least 20 hours a week.
  • Engage clients in telephonic and in-person interactions and deliver product information to the prospect.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge, policies, procedures, contacts, and the hemp/cannabis industry; continual learning and training as required.
  • Provides advanced details to customers during the course of conversation with ease and knowledge.

You must be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Successful Sales experience is a must.
  • Proven experience with outbound calling and following hard as well as warm leads preferred
  • Highly articulate and persuasive verbal and written communication and listening skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn, retain, and articulate technical product related information, and provide unscripted responses on appropriate subject matter.

Angular 4 Developer (Virtual Remote)

We are looking to expand our internal development team by adding additional Angular 4 Developers to our team. We have a product written in Angular 4 (using TypeScript) that accesses a REST API running on the Serverless Framework (also written in TypeScript). Developer would be responsible for managing their own tasks given a list of milestones and tasks that are handed to them. Developer would be responsible for her/his own equipment, including Computers, Mobile Devices, Internet, Office, etc. Developer MUST be able to work in a distributed environment and have secure access to Internet to develop and push code to our platform.

  • Assist with development and enhancement of Angular 4 Web Application

DevOps Support Engineer (Virtual Remote)

We are looking to expand our internal operations team by adding additional DevOps staff to our team. We have several services running on Amazon Web Services (AWS), as well as SaaS solutions provided by third-party vendors that we need to support. We have several scripts for processing bulk data written in TypeScript and NodeJS that parse Excel, CSV, and PDF files we receive from our data partners and other online services. You must be familiar with running shell-scripts on Unix based systems, as well as be able to debug and identify issues with parsing and mapping scripts written in TypeScript and NodeJS. You must also be able to identify issues with AWS environments and configurations including applications running on the Serverless Framework, as well as manage and debug issues with Production and Development environments. You must also be able to work with REST APIs and help with Integration of third-party systems and data into our systems. Additionally, familiarity with SQL and DynamoDB for reporting is a bonus.

  • Assist with managing operations of AWS-based services
  • Assist with writing and running import and mapping scripts to match external data to our databases
  • Assist with extracting data from third-party data providers and converting into our formats

Market Researcher (Virtual Remote)

We are looking for a market researcher to join our Cannabiz Media team, reporting to our Chief Data Officer, to provide telephone based research on companies in the medical and recreational marijuana industry. The successful candidate will be verifying data on existing businesses and searching out new businesses.

As Market Researcher you will:

  • Carry out telephone research with cultivators, manufacturers, dispensaries, retailers and other market participants to confirm key facts, demographics and key metrics about these businesses.
  • Input all relevant data into a web-based platform which will be edited and validated by our team
  • Provide insight and opinion about the markets where required
  • Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with contacts within research sources
