NCIA’s Northeast Cannabis Business Conference (formerly called the Seed to Sale Show), is coming to the Hynes Convention Center in Boston, Massachusetts on February 19-20, 2020. The Northeast Cannabis Business Conference is expected to draw more than 3,500 cannabis industry professionals and experts who want to network and learn about emerging and region-specific trends, regulations, and opportunities in the Northeast’s growing cannabis market.
The inaugural Northeast Cannabis Business Conference offers four educational tracks:
More than 150 speakers from business, government, and non-profit organizations will lead two days of educational sessions within the four main tracks, including representatives from NCIA, the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission, the Massachusetts Recreational Consumer Council, the Colorado Governor’s Office, BDS Analytics, Coda Signature, Kiva Confections, Curaleaf, Viridian Capital Advisors, the Marijuana Policy Project, New Frontier Data, Greenwave Advisors, Vincent Seiderberg LLP, Treehouse REIT, Cresco Labs, Acreage Holdings, and many more.
Nearly two dozen sessions will be offered in the four educational tracks over the two-day event covering diverse topics of importance to B2B interests in the cannabis industry. Some session titles include:
Each day of the conference will kick off with a keynote session. Wednesday’s keynote speaker is Derreck Kayongo, an entrepreneur, Global Soap Project founder, and former CEO of the Center for Civil and Human Rights. Derreck will present Reimagining Diversity & Inclusion: A Pathway to Courageous Conversations.
Thursday’s keynote speakers come from NCIA, the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission, the Boston Police Department, the Colorado Governor’s Office, and the Last Prisoner Project. Together. They will present Illicit Market Summit: Addressing the Illicit Cannabis Market through Public-Private Collaboration.
In addition to the specific educational track sessions offered during the conference, there will be educational opportunities happening on the expo floor, so you can visit vendor booths, network, and learn at the same time.
At the Elevation Lounge (Booth #1525), there will be 20-minute educational sessions open to all conference attendees. After each session, attendees can visit the Knowledge Bar (Booth #1531) for a Q&A and more discussions with each speaker.
NCIA will also host a live podcast during the conference at Booth #1240 featuring live discussions with industry experts.
The first day of the conference will end with the 420 Networking Event in the exhibit hall where speakers, exhibitors, and attendees will have an opportunity to meet and build relationships.
