Cannabiz Media will be exhibiting at the upcoming MJBizConNEXT conference at the Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana from May 9-11, 2018, and we’d love to see you there!
Stop by Booth #725 on the interactive show floor where the Cannabiz Media team will be offering demos of the Cannabiz Media License Database, and in keeping with the conference’s theme, “What’s next?” the team can fill you in on what’s coming to the Database in the coming weeks and months.
MJBizConNEXT is held by the editors of MJBizDaily and the producers of MJBizCon. With 74 speakers and 275 exhibitors, it’s one of the larger marijuana industry conferences of the year. Attendees will be able to engage with business executives, influencers, extractors, and cultivators who are leading the cannabis industry during three days of educational sessions.
Among the 74 speakers are three keynote speakers. First, Kevin O’Leary, who is Chairman of OShares ETFs, a Shark Tank investor, and a self-made multi-millionaire who has launched and invested in over 40 companies, will discuss taking your business to the next level with a focus on leadership, culture, and innovation. Next, Marijana Business Daily’s Vice President of Editorial and Strategic Development, Chris Walsh, will discuss the year ahead, including 10 trends to watch. The final keynote speaker, Jesce Horton, who is CEO of Saints Cannabis and the founder of Panacea Valley Gardens in Oregon, will discuss how people can cement their places in the cannabis industry.
Additional speakers come from a wide variety of organizations, such as the Marijuana Policy Project, the American Trade Association for Cannabis & Hemp, Better Baked, Greenwave Advisors, Dixie Brands, the International Cannabis Farmers Association, CNS Equity Partners, Navy Capital, and Cannabistry Labs.
Session topics are primarily divided into six categories:
Some of the specific topics that speakers will discuss during MJBizConNEXT include investing basics, emerging medical and recreational markets, the Canada market overview, scaling a cannabis business, hemp and CBD, fast-acting products, the next states to legalize, and more.
This year’s conference will also offer special sessions for qualified applicants focused on VIP lead cultivation and extraction, cannabis law, and the MJBizConNEXT Executive Summit. And of course, there will be plenty of time for networking throughout the event.
If you’ll be at MJBizConNEXT in New Orleans next month, be sure to visit Cannabiz Media at Booth #725 where the Cannabiz team will show you how easy it is to connect with marijuana and hemp license holders when leads and prospects are built into one powerful customer relationship management (CRM) and email marketing software – the Cannabiz Media License Database, which currently includes information about nearly 27,000 licensed marijuana and hemp operations.
